Drawing comparisons to Dusty Springfield in her own simple style this star is starting to shine. Her first single ‘Rockferry’ has been playlisted at Radio 1 and with the album of 2008 due for release in March, you will be hearing this voice everywhere.

	Remi Nicole - Lights Out (11/2/08) She's the girl who got everyone talking; Remi Nicole the cheeky London lass releases her next single which resonates her love for indie riffs & simple melodies. Always drawing from inspiration the lyrics relate to life and this song is only the tip of the talent, taken from her sunshine bright debut album ‘My Conscience And I’ which is out now.

	Rihanna - Don't Stop The Music (Mercury 11/2/08) This is a standout track from the girl whose fairy godmother arrived in the form of JayZ and a record deal. Since the release of her 2nd album ‘Good Girl Gone Band’ it seems the world has gone Rihanna crazy, and you know you secretly love that ‘Umbrella’ track. Co-written by the Scandinavian masters Stargate, this is a tune for dancefloors everywhere, turn it up loud & shake it.
	Kanye West - Homecoming (Roc-A-Fella 14/1/08) We just can't get enough of Mr. K West. The Graduate completed his recent sell out 02 shows with a depth that touched the heart of everyone. This is the 3rd single to kick off 2008 and features none other than Chris Martin singing inbetween cute piano riffs and hip hop beats.
	Alicia Keys - Like You'll Never See Me Again (RCA 2008) With a voice as smooth as chocolate the beautiful Alicia Keys returned with her last single ‘No One’ taken from the Top 3 US album ‘As I Am’. This is her second single carrying the emotion & feeling she always puts into her songs and duetting with Justin Timberlake can't have been that bad. Her UK tour starts next February ending at the 02 on Friday February 29th.


	Peace Train - 10,000 Maniacs First up ,we have those friends of REM and college campus darlings 10,000 Maniacs, fronted by the honey-toned Natalie Merchant, covering a classic written by the Artist Formerly Known As Cat Stevens, Mr Yusuf Islam, whose paean to tolerance and understanding is something, now more than ever, we should all be taking to heart.
	My Friend The Sun - Linda Lewis Next, the mellifluous Linda Lewis steps up to the mic to deliver a gorgeous take on a hidden gem from the criminally underrated catalogue of early Seventies bluesy rockers Family and comes across like Stevie Windwood's little sister round a festival campfire. We'd love to hear Kate Rusby, or even Devendra Banhart, have a pop at this one.


	James Yuill - No Surprise Newly signed James Yuill is a 22 year old Londoner. He's a folktronica artist, yes that's right kids, he's a folk dude with an 808 up his... sleeve. Already getting attention at radio for his warm and incredibly sync friendly music he is a definite one to watch.
