Savan Kotecha - Amazing (SonyBMG) Hailing from Sweden but born in Austin, Texas, Savan Kotecha has been writing with Dannii Minogue, Holly Valance, Geri Halliwell & most recently Westlife. Helping to co-write their new single 'Amazing' this will definitely be a big hit for him & a possible number one. The Concretes - Chosen One (EMI 27/2/06) The first Stockholm band of the issue, The Concretes were formed in 1995 & after many line-up changes are now a settled seven. Their distinctive 'happy-clash' sound gives their songs a feel good factor & this is their vibrant 1st single from their 3rd album 'The Concretes In Colour' which is released on 13th March. Put in on & cheer up...please Shout Out Louds - Please Please Please (EMI 20/2/06) Also formed in Stockholm by childhood friends Adam, Ted and Carl in 2001 these Swedish indie pop rockers have already made their name in the US thanks to the OC & a tour supporting The Dears. 'Please Please Please' is a perfect slice of the band's high-energy, ultra-melodic sound they are becoming renowned for. |

| Teenage Fanclub - Sparky's Dream Scotland's finest collection of singers & songwriters, Teenage Fanclub were formed in 1987. This classic track is luxurious in it's harmonies & is taken from the 1995 album 'Grand Prix' which is famed for being the band's truest group effort, democratic in every way. ELO - Evil Woman Formed in Birmingham in 1970, ELO's are a band renowned for their fusion of Beatles-esque pop & big riff-laden melodies. 'Evil Woman' was one of the most respected chart hits of its era, and one of the best songs that Jeff Lynne ever wrote - it was apparently written in 30 minutes. | ![]() |
